                                                  There are six seasons in a year.Autumn is one of them.It is the third season of the year.It is composed of September and October.Autumn is the season  after summer and before winter.It begins with the autumnal equinox and ends with the winter solstice in December.     

                                                  Autumn is at war with the rain.The sunny weather of Autumn wipes off the footprints of the rainy season.Autumn  is a time for harvesting most crops.In this season,fruit is gathered.So, it is known as the fruit gathering  season.                                          

                                                  

                                                  In Autumn.we see many kinds of lotus in ponds.They are white,blue and red.At night,the glossy moon of  Autumn beams bright.On the  Equator,autumn is very much like spring ,with little difference in temperature or in weather. Autumn is a time when most animals are looking for food so they can store up for winter.In autumn the weather gets colder and more windy.          

                                     

                                               Autumn is cool and beautiful.It is highly praised by the lovers of beauties.Great poets of past and present have sung praise of Autumn.Hence,we welcome this season.
